Mr. Salah did his undergraduate studies at the University of California – Irvine graduating with a B.S. in Political Science in 1992. He then went on to receive his J.D. at Whittier College School of Law in 1995 and received his State Bar Admittance in 1996. After being employed as an attorney at Zonni, Ginocchio & Taylor, and then Laughlin, Fablo, Levy & Moresi, before starting his own practice.
Mr. Salah became the founding partner at Salah Law Corporation in 1999. He represents insurance carriers, TPAs, and self-insured employers in the defense of Workers Compensation claims. Mr. Salah runs a high-volume solo practice and has been a preeminent force in the California Workers Compensation defense community. Since its inception, Salah Law Corporation has been devoted to meet the needs of the Risk Management Industry of California. Mr. Salah’s firm has considerable expertise in all aspects of Workers Compensation defense, including Serious & Willful Misconduct claims and claims filed under Labor Code Section 132(a).
Mr. Salah has devoted his career to the litigation and trial of complex employment matters and specializes in a wide range of complex employment litigation including insurance defense for several Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Mr. Salah’s litigation experience includes trials, mediations, negotiating settlements, depositions, evaluating technical information, and employing a variety of litigation techniques to develop and implement optimal case strategies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Secor spent nine years with the state-wide firm of (as it was then known) Stockwell, Harris, Widom, Woolverton & Muehl, partnered with Richard Widom, Esq. and managed the Workers’ Compensation Dept. of otherwise civil and insurance law firm, Chamberlin & Keaster LLP.
LAW PRACTICE:
Mr. Secor has devoted his 20+ year career defending Workers’ Compensation claims for multiple national insurance companies, self-insured and uninsured employers.
He is well versed in Alternative Dispute Resolution claims (outside the jurisdiction of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board per employer/Labor Union contracts) and has carved a niche defending claims in the hotel and hospitality industry, having represented the Four Seasons Hotel for over fifteen years, as well as national hotel chains such as Hilton and Doubletree.
He is also experienced in defending employers with LC 132(a) and Serious and Willful claims. He has also been on the litigation panel of the California Insurance Guarantee Association, the quasi-governmental entity responsible for administering benefits on behalf of insolvent carriers, and is familiar with its own, unique and complex rules and laws absolving them of liability.

Having been raised on the east coast, Mr. Trygar attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, graduating near the top of his class in 1982.
Relocating to California in the 1980s, he then attended Southwestern University School of Law, graduating with Honors in 1986. He passed the California bar on his first attempt & was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987.
After first gaining experience representing Applicants in CA Worker’s Compensation, Mr. Trygar switched to the defense side and has zealously represented & defended insurance companies, self-insured employers, third-party administrators, and uninsured employers for over twenty years now.
Lou is well versed in doctor and physician cross-examinations and defending 132(a) claims and Serious and Willful claims. He has been an invaluable & continuing asset to the firm.
